Kratom Leaf Cultivation

Kratom leaf (Mitragyna speciose) suddenly became a public conversation. Because, these leaves are herbal medicines for Indonesian citizens, but are considered as drugs or illegal drugs abroad.
Cultivation plants that grow on the island of Kalimantan are often also called Bali Kratom and some countries in Southeast Asia have many benefits.

The plant that comes from the coffee family (Rubiaceae) is a tropical plant that can grow as tall as 4 to 16 meters, lay people can also recognize it as Red Bali kratom.

Kratom farmers usually use leaves that have a width that exceeds the palm of an adult’s hand. When picked, dried kratom leaves will shrink.
However, ordinary people consume kratom leaves by chewing like betel leaves, besides brewed like tea. Kratom leaves are sold and marketed like supplements in the form of capsules and fine powder.
Nevertheless, if this plant is misused, the effect will be more powerful than morphine or opium.
The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) immediately categorizes kratom leaves as narcotics group I. Head of the National Narcotics Agency Commissioner-General Heru Winarko asserted that the effects caused by Kratom leaves could be 13 times that of morphine.
On the same occasion, West Kalimantan Governor Sutarmidji asked BNN to review the Kratom leaf visit to buy kratom.
With the prohibition, the government must find solutions for the people so that their income is not lost.
He explained his party did not want to interfere in the veil polemic and the trousers called radical symbols. But, according to him, it needs to be understood that the purpose of the state is that this is only for ASN because they are public servants.
